Manage Your Support PIN

The Support PIN proves account ownership when you contact EDBB about billing, security, or sensitive service changes. Treat it like any other secret: share it only with trusted teammates and rotate it if you suspect exposure.

Spot the PIN on the Summary Card

1

Open your VPS summary

Sign in to the EDBB VPS Portal and open the VPS from Services.
2

Check the right-side overview

The Summary card on the right lists the Support PIN alongside the KVM ID, plan, and installed OS. Tap the copy icon to grab it instantly.
3

Store it safely

Paste the value into your password manager or internal secret vault—avoid plain-text notes or chat messages.

When Support Will Ask for the PIN

  • 🔐 Account validation – identity checks for billing adjustments, contact updates, or GDPR-related requests.
  • 🛠️ Sensitive changes – rDNS edits, reverse DNS delegation, or provisioning additional IPs through the support desk.
  • 🚨 Security escalations – suspicious login reports, suspected compromise, or ownership challenges.
Providing the PIN with your first message speeds up verification so we can action the request without back-and-forth.

Keep the PIN Under Control

🔒 Store & rotate

Keep the PIN in a shared password manager. Rotate it if team membership changes or if you suspect it leaked.

👥 Limit visibility

Grant access only to staff who handle billing or infrastructure escalations. Remove old entries promptly.

⚠️ Compromised?

Reach Support via the portal messenger or email support@edbb.com and ask for a fresh PIN.
Need help right now? Message us through the portal messenger or email support@edbb.com and include your VPS ID plus the Support PIN for quick verification.
