EDBB measures incoming plus outgoing traffic. Your current allowance is the monthly Plan Traffic plus any Pool Traffic assigned to the VPS during that cycle. An approximately 5% grace allowance applies. If no further traffic becomes available, the interface is limited to approximately 1 Mbps at around 105% usage. There is no automatic overage charge. The VPS remains online, but applications may be effectively unavailable at the reduced speed.

Restore full speed

  1. Check the shared Traffic Pool in the VPS Traffic tab. Every new VPS adds 100 GB starter credit to the account pool.
  2. Assign available Pool Traffic to the affected VPS. If the pool is empty, purchase traffic, then assign it.
  3. Alternatively, complete a plan upgrade that provides more traffic, or wait for the VPS’s monthly refill.
Buying traffic only adds it to your account pool. It must be assigned to the affected VPS before it increases that VPS’s allowance. Unused assigned traffic expires at the next monthly refill.
The rate limit lifts automatically after additional traffic becomes available; a reboot is not required to remove the traffic throttle. Resource upgrades can have separate activation/restart requirements.

Prevent another interruption

Auto-Hydration assigns a selected 100, 200, 300 or 500 GB increment at 99% usage if sufficient pool balance exists. It does not purchase more traffic.
