What Is the Traffic Pool?

The traffic pool is a shared bucket of data transfer you can assign to any VPS in your account. Buy it once, consume it where you need it, and reassign it between instances at any time.
  • Pool traffic never expires.
  • Assignments take effect instantly and appear in the hydration log.
  • Auto hydration rules can refill a VPS the moment it reaches 99% usage.
Traffic hydration controls A — Traffic Pool balance: shows remaining TB and provides the Top up button.
B — Manual hydration: add fixed chunks of 100 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB, or 10 TB to the selected VPS.
C — Auto hydration: choose a profile (e.g., +100 GB). The system assigns it automatically at 99% usage.

Global vs Premium Traffic Zones

ZoneMember locationsMultiplierIdeal use case
Global Traffic ZoneMost EDBB data centers across Europe, North America, and Asia1 TB assigned = 1 TB deliveredStandard workloads and geo-distributed projects
Premium Traffic ZoneHigh-cost routes such as Cyprus, UAE, Australia, Chile, and Colombia1 TB assigned = 0.5 TB deliveredLatency-sensitive applications in premium markets
Premium zone traffic reflects elevated carrier costs. When assigned to a VPS in a premium location, usage is debited at 2× the normal rate (e.g., 1 TB assigned counts as 2 TB consumed).
You can run both zone balances in the same pool. Each VPS shows its traffic zone on the Traffic tab so you know which multiplier applies.

Monitor, Refill, and Stay Ahead

  • Check pool balance and assignment history via the Hydration log and Pool log buttons.
  • Email alerts fire at 80%, 90%, and 100% pool usage; top up before the balance is exhausted.
  • Combine pool top-ups with plan upgrades if your baseline traffic requirement grows over time.
