# VPS IP not reachable from my country

> Investigate country-specific access problems with console checks and network evidence. Understand why an IP change cannot guarantee reachability.

Reachability from a particular country or ISP cannot be guaranteed. Filtering, routing changes and application rules can affect access even when the VPS is online elsewhere.

1. Check the service state and console in the EDBB panel.
2. Test from the affected network and compare with another network.
3. Collect [MTR/traceroute evidence](/faq/ip-addresses/diagnose-packet-loss), the destination, protocol and timestamps.
4. Contact [support@edbb.com](mailto:support@edbb.com) with those details before ordering an IP change or migration.

An IP replacement may not resolve external filtering. Reinstallation erases data and is not a general cure for country-specific reachability.
