# Lost access to your two-factor authentication?

> Recover access to your EDBB account if you lose your authenticator or backup codes. Contact support from your registered email and verify account ownership.

If you no longer have your authenticator app or backup codes, contact [support@edbb.com](mailto:support@edbb.com) from the **email address registered to your EDBB account**.

This is for signing in to the EDBB Control Panel. It does not reset a password or two-factor authentication inside your VPS.

## What to include

* Your registered account email address.
* An active VPS IP address, or a recent invoice number or amount.
* The payment method used, such as card, PayPal, bank transfer or cryptocurrency.

Do not send your account password, one-time authentication codes, private keys or full card details.

## Account verification

Support needs to verify account ownership before changing authentication settings. You may be asked for payment reference details, the billing name, or confirmation through your registered email address. A security review may be needed before access can be restored.

If you also lost access to your registered email address, explain that in your request. Do not assume that an IP address or invoice number alone is enough to prove ownership.

## After access is restored

Follow support's instructions to sign in, then set up two-factor authentication again. Save any recovery codes in a secure place separate from your phone.

If you have forgotten your **account password**, use the password-reset option on the [EDBB sign-in page](https://my.edbb.com/clientarea.php). Changing your account password does not remove two-factor authentication.
