# Accidental renewal: convert payment to account credit

> Ask support to review an accidental renewal paid before its due date. Request account credit within 24 hours of payment; conversion is not automatic.

If a VPS renews accidentally, you can ask support to convert the payment to account credit. Support will check whether the payment meets the conditions below. This process converts an eligible payment to credit; it does not return the money to your payment method.

## Eligibility

* Submit the request **before the service due date**.
* The payment must have been made **within 24 hours of your request**.
* Cancel the affected service and include its invoice number, IP address and your reason for the request.

EDBB reviews the request and may decline it. If approved, the payment becomes account credit for future services; it is not returned as a direct payment.

## Request a review

1. Back up any data you need, then [cancel the service](/faq/billing-lifecycle/cancel-a-service).
2. Contact [support@edbb.com](mailto:support@edbb.com) with the invoice number, service/IP details and explanation.
3. Check the support response and account balance. Do not assume conversion has completed until it is confirmed.
